Hey CUZZ,
I got a few minutes here in between feeding mom and helping her get dressed.
She is with me for the weekend.............we are going xmas shopping at the
dollar store! Yikes on me, very tedious stuff. Then my husband wants to help
him change the blades on the lawnmower.............I am just too popular this
day.
The spread sheet sounds perfect but I no nothing about a blog........I am
computer limited but I can follow orders to a T.
YOU will not go in Winnebego without me! He and I daydream all the time about
doing things like that.

I am so thankful that this is going to pan out for both our moms sake and I
thank all who are helping to make this happen.
What dates are we talking about?
Becky, the Staybridge is so close to where my daughters live now. They live at
Keller Springs and Josey!!! My son Sam used to live at the tollway and
Frankford!
Such a small world hey?
Who all is coming now? Jerre and Robert, Pat and Marinell and how many kids?
What does it cost to stay at the Staybridge? I want to help pay for all this
effort! And gas money too. Pat should I send you some money so you can take
care of these things? Really, let me help please.
How will they eat? Do Jerre and Bob have specific food needs? I can have all
the food at moms for every meal if that helps. I would just need to know.
Yes Becky we can plan rides etc when we know more. For instance, coming over to
my moms daily will certainly be fine HOWEVER she needs several hours each
morning to be ready. She just can't get up too early and needs a great deal of
time to eat and process and do her morning business! Her body just does not
respond quickly anymore. Oh my gosh she is going to be sooooooooo excited!
I am super excited too and can't wait! I will be very flexible with picking up
and returning folks and meals etc.
So let me know dates, food needs, drink preferences, monies to whom and how.
We shall have a grand visit!

Just talked to my commander............I can drive to HOUSTON and this might
solve all our problems. He really can't stop me from doing this...........long,

I say we rent a pair of the smallest RV’s available that have a bathroom onboard and have them rendezvous at minimum for the afternoon in Centerville.
First of all I need to be brought into this espionage loop. Sorry I am a little

Traveling with nurse not good idea as unless you know one its pretty
risky....been there with my mom and it was not a good feeling
No such thing as endurance build up with bowel troubles............sorry to say,
I have been thru this with Big SIS and trying to regulate and pinpoint trouble
areas for over one year
I am pretty sure flying them or Jerre not good, nor for my mom the big sis
Timing of Queen and Big Sis reunion we can work around totally, mom does not do
anything except with one of us
The money part depends on how we do this: seems flying is out so helping to pay
for gas or anything else is my only concern with whomever ends up doing this.
Maybe its a sensitive issue but needs to be talked about as no one should get
stuck if its hurting them. I am willing to make up a story for Queen Sis about
someone in my family winning money, finding money, stealing money or even making
money.
I will do whatever the team needs me to do..........I am used to being pooped
upon, relied upon, yelled upon, blamed for it all etc. I can handle any role!
Bottom line for me is this:
You all have Houston Targets and their individual concerns with health etc.
I have Dallas Target and her issues.
One of the main problems I see is that the health issues change from day to day
which is why it is so scary for them to leave their comfort zones. In my moms
case some days it chanes by the hour! Often I have thought of drugging me mum
and tossing her in trunk for drive down; but then I think of her waking while
en route.............
So it certainly looks like every one of us is willing and able to do whatever we
can.
I am also thinking now it might be best for me to try and get my mom down to the
Queen. I will ask my commander today......................what he thinks. He
just didn't want me driving down alone and if he were to drive we have the
smoking in the car issue etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (mom still smokes)
Lets keep this going for the sake of these sisters who need to see each other
soon.

ps. there is a lot to consider. Can the health issues be stablized enough to be
away from home............although I can't see not being able to travel with all
that is needed! I have gotten mom very used to her diapers and I travel from my
place to hers with all the necessary items for any accident. I don't know if
the Queen is ready yet ................of how bad her troubles are and the
dignity of both these sisters is of the highest priority for me.

she said she doesn't feel like they can travel, that they have too many dr.
visits etc. I got the feeling that she is actually just too nervous to travel.
I'll keep working on her and maybe everyone else can too? I looked up flight
info, it will be $69 each way for each person.

Hi all,
Fabulous news, I have made contact with some other family members! My dads
brother Norbert lived in Utah and its his three children that I have had the
pleasure of reconnecting with in the past couple of months. So those names are
now added to this email list that I send periodically to update you all on my
mom.
These cousins are DeDe Collette Lemmon married to Craig and living very near me.
They have a daughter Megan who is married to Shawn Holladay and they live near
here also! I loved meeting DeDe, Craig and Megan. As we re-discovered each
other we realized that Megan and my daughter Nina were in the same high school
but one year apart!
A couple of weeks ago Joan Leslie Collette Maxwell came to visit and I got to
see her also! She still lives in Utah and is married I thinki to Bruce and has
two kids? I will get this info and post it so we all know who the rest of our
extended family is.
Then there is Mike Collette who now lives in IOWA or IDAHO, again I can't
remember, too much info for this old brain. But I will find out and hopefully
connect with Mike soon.
Regarding my mom. First of all for those that need to know mom will be coming
to my house from Thur Oct 30 to Tues Nov 4 for a little escape. We are going to
go to church, maybe Christmas shop, get hair cut etc. Lots of little things.
The two biggest stats in moms health are we are going to try and wean her off of
her depression meds when she comes here (so I can keep an eye on her). When she
got those meds she was a lot different than she is now. We hope taking her off
will make her a little more "with it".
The bad news is her MRSA infection has returned. All we can do is treat it but
it does concern me that this is the third time she has broken out.
Mom still has her PT twice a week and this is so good for her. The exercises
are so necessary. Her once a week nurse is also still coming to check moms
vitals.
Thats it for this time. So glad this family is staying in touch! Again, if you
don't care to receive this news, just let me know.
